I first contacted Big Jim's Auto a couple of weeks ago. I have a GMC Acadia that needed the timing chains replaced. Now let me tell you.... I've watched a few videos on YouTube on how to replace them and I would never have been able to do it myself. It's that big of a job. Needless to say, they got me a date to bring the vehicle in. I took it in on a Monday (2-17-20). They were able to get it into a bay on the next day. Around noon on Tuesday I not only recieved a phone call from Jim, but also the invoice and a couple of photos of the work in progress. The engine on this vehicle has to be dropped completely out and the body raised to be able to do the work..... not your typical leave the engine in and do it that way. All work was completed by Friday (2-21-20). It runs great!!! There are still a few things that need to be replaced and Jim told me about them. Those are things that I should be able to do on my own. For the quality work.... the time keeping in contact with me.... the personnel service...... the photos.... and the price.......I will always recommend Big Jim's Auto to family and friends.
