I’ve been going to Big Jim’s (née Midas) for at least 15 years. Service has always been fantastic, employees are always convivial, and most importantly repairs are done as stated and on time. I highly recommend them.

I have a 2009 Nissan Quest that had coolant leaking from the AC system, and with the temperatures being what they are in a Michigan summer, that was simply unacceptable. I reached out to Monica and Big Jim, and brought the vehicle in for a diagnosis. They were able to ascertain that it was a leak in the rear AC evaporator, and knew of a welding shop that could weld it. This simple fix saved us hundreds, and I do mean hundreds of dollars, and we are so grateful! They were even good enough to back the car into a parking space after it was done, so that my wife could pick it up in my absence (as I am on the road until the end of August). The work was outstanding and fast, the staff are beyond friendly, and there is *no way* that we are taking this car to be serviced anywhere else, ever again. I don't usually 'gush' over auto repair places, but Big Jim's Auto Repair is the exception. Go see them, today!

Great service. Jim even discuss my vehicle limits with towing and tires which was above and beyond the work he needed to do. I never felt rushed or unimportant. Labor fees are pretty reasonable too. I will be going back here for all my car needs.
